Why Canada? 10/30/2009
Since I was 11, I heard Canada loved gays. I was still in the closet for everyone and I dreamt and swore to myself to go to Canada one day...God! I am almost in tears and thats why I want to live in Canada, because I can be myself. CommentsKarim 11/03/2009 00:08
I came to know about Canada as a open nation for Gay marriages...I was little shocked initially knowing the fact that two men could legally marry and live together life any other heterosexual couple. Then I became very curious to know about nations that leaglised Gay marriage and same sex relationships. I was in Melbourne that time and even Oz shores was very new to me. Around the same time I realised that Vancouver is one of the best cities to live as good as Melbourne. There was an hidden strong feeling in my mind that I will visit Vancouver sometimes in life and that has been a reality since 2009 ever since I landed in Vanc. I never thought I would live here for long when just a month vaccation from work brought me here on a visit visa...but that's life. Sometimes you don't have control over it.
